For each Building Bridges session, there are important surveys to be completed. Survey responses will be analysed, with reports shared via this wiki. Data will be retained at the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce.

Required surveys per session

1. Educator Participants Pre-assessment


Purpose: Assess participant’s level of knowledge of area businesses, career opportunities, impact in the classroom
Format: electronic distribution / email
Process data: electronic compiling
Quantity: One-time to each Educator Participant
Time-frame: Complete survey on-line at orientation session
Disposition: Hold for final report / archive

2. Business Participant Profile


Purpose: Provide overview of business, including needs, skills and opportunities for employment
Format: electronic distribution / email
Process data: electronic compiling
Quantity: One-time to each Educator Participant
Time-frame: 1 month before first session / Send out, complete, compile
Disposition: Distribute to all Educator Participants prior to site visits.

3. Program Attendance Record


Purpose: verify attendance for CEU, participation numbers
Format: chart or form on laptop or paper
Process Facilitator takes attendance at each site visit
Quantity: one chart
Time-frame: At each site session
Disposition: Facilitator collects. Data compiled at end of program.

4. Educators’ Site Visit Debriefing / Feedback


Purpose: Collect impressions, learning experience, questions & comments
Format: paper survey
Process distribute at each site visit
Quantity: one survey to each participant
Time-frame: At each site session / distribute & complete (OR EMAIL)
Disposition: Facilitator collects. Data compiled at end of program

5. Business Site Evaluation


Purpose: Review & summarize experience, appropriateness to program.
Format: electronic survey
Process Facilitator completes after visit
Quantity: one survey for each site
Time-frame: After each site session
Disposition: Facilitator collects. Data compiled at end of program

6. Educator Participants Post-assessment


Purpose: Evaluate impact on participants
Format: electronic distribution / email
Process data: electronic compiling
Quantity: One-time to each Educator Participant
Time-frame: Following last site visit, prior to Wrap-up/ Send out, complete, compile
Disposition: Hold for final report / archive

7. Group Wrap-up - All Participants


Purpose: Evaluate success, effectiveness, meeting expectations, identify problems or issues, collect suggestions
Format: electronic distribution / email
Process data: electronic compiling
Quantity: One-time to each Participant (businesses, educators, facilitators, others)
Time-frame: Immediately following graduation / Send out, complete, compile
Disposition: Hold for final report / archive
